Teri Emery
Registered Dental Hygienist

Teri is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) having completed her degree and licensure in July 2008. She is a graduate of Dora High School and Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield, MO. Teri graduated
from the Dental Assisting Program in May
2006 where she became a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Expanded Functions Certified. From there she went on to
complete the Dental Hygiene Program and graduated with honors in May 2008.

A RDH is a licensed healthcare
professional, oral health
educator and clinician, which
provides preventative, educational
and therapeutic services, supporting total health for the control of oral diseases and the promotion of oral health. A RDH has completed a minimum two-year college program that includes classroom studies and extensive supervised clinical experience.

A RDH must pass a national written exam, clinical exam, and state laws exam in addition to graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program to receive licensure. A RDH can also administer anesthetics.
